Kennedy has started its own Health Garden club.  The H.G.C. club was created to promote a sense of responsibility, self-esteem, ownership, positive attitude towards the consumption of fruits and vegetables, expand environmental awareness, and to enhance community and social development among the students.  H.G.C. club members planted squash, tomatoes, egg plants, and strawberries in a box garden.  This endeavor was made possible with donations provided by the Weslaco Lowes store.
